By the year 2010, there will be 28.5 million low-income homeowners in America. This means that 28.5 million people will struggle to make the basic repairs that will allow them to continue to live in their own homes. Millions of families will have to choose between hot meals or hot showers, medicine or a dry home.  At RTD, we help these families.

 

But we can't do it without your help.

 

RTD enlists thousands of volunteers every year to help their neighbors live safely and comfortably. Your contribution will enable students, skilled laborers and countless others to join together in the common goal of ensuring that families are able to live in safety, warmth and dignity.  With volunteer labor, we can leverage each dollar donated to provide five dollars of impact.

Support RTD with a financial contribution today and your gift immediately will help families and communities in need. Any donation, large or small, is appreciated.

 

· A gift of $100 can provide an emergency heating repair for an older adult.

· A contribution of $500 will pay for the building of an access ramp for a

      disabled homeowner.

· A donation of $1,000 will provide someone with a much needed roofing repair.

· $3,000 will provide the necessary resources to insulate an attic, repair wood siding, replace a water damaged floor, install bathroom grab bars, replace damaged siding, provide heating, fix a leaking faucet, and install smoke detectors.
